    Tri-Star Straps

When I carry my Tri-Star with the backpack straps my Absolute shoulder strap just dangles down, gets in the way and generally catches on every passing item, person, etc.

Does anybody have a more elegant / clever solution rather than just having to unclip & remove and then re-attach the shoulder strap each time I change from backpack carry to shoulder carry ?

I can't post a link but there are some photos in imperator's thread Western Flyer part II the conference. They show how to do what you're looking for. The thread is in the bag review section.

    Ah, you mean this one:

Western Flyer Part II: The Conference

3rd and 4th photos? Looks like the strap is wrapped around the underside of the WF.

I did more or less the same thing with my TS. It's more convenient than unclipping, and even if the strap goes behind your lower back, it's not really in the way.
