As I understand it, parapack fabric is supposed to offer superior rejection of pet hair and dirt over 1050d ballistic nylon, correct?

One thing photos and video on the internet cannot capture adequately is the texture and shine of the fabric of nylon and nylon-like products. I don't know how you overcome that. HD video camera, perhaps? Or maybe using closeups and good lighting with a late-model SLR?

I would like to see a visually accurate, high-fidelity comparison (both still photos and video) of the various kinds of fabric. Anybody own an HD-video SLR to capture this? Maybe Tom Bihn's brother can take a crack at it?

In theory, if parapack lives up to its reputation and is as silky-beautiful as the 1050d on my Super Ego, then it sounds like a very attractive fabric. I wonder if Tom Bihn will ever offer a camo version of the Brain Bag using parapack...

I think asking for samples of the materials would help you, MtnMan.

Mtnman, for me the parapack and ballistic are about the same at shedding pet hair. They both do a pretty good job. I find the cordura to be the largest hair magnet.
