Surface Pro 2 Cache with Rails Size?

I checked the sizing on this. Looks like a Macbook Air 11 (vertical) cache with rails will fit it. My question is: will this fit the Surface with Type Cover? Help is greatly appreciated. I want to use this in my Synapse 19/25.
Black/Steel TS, Black/Steel A45, Black Dyneema/Wasabi A30, Black/Black/Steel Brain Bag, Black/Steel Co-Pilot, Black/Steel Pilot, Black/Steel Synapse 19, Black Dyneema/Wasabi Synapse 19, Black/Steel Cadet 11, Black/Steel Imago, Black Dyneema/Wasabi MCB, Navy/Cayenne and Black/Solar SCB, Black/Wasabi and Navy/Iberian SE and many pouches in various sizes. Having just purchased a Surface Pro 2 this weekend, I'm also interested in an answer on this question -- although I'm more interested in the horizontal one.

Whichever size it was, I believe @Tizi has used the Horizontal cache in the Pilot. Take a look at the My Pilot thread. The second picture in the third post is captioned:
Main Compartment: Surface Pro 2 in cache with rails, papers in large OP, Dell Venue 8 Pro, Folio, mouse in mesh OP, Dell cables, a few more nick nacks
