Hmm now I must decide if I should purchase one now or wait for the larger version in possible new colors (hoping for steel or red, wish they still had solar) - maybe even in ballistic! Of course seeing the thread about the gym bag prototype which is 2 years old doesn't make me have much hope for a quick release announcement

I had to run and check. I think you're referring to this:

"Update on the soon-to-be-released larger Synapse backpack:it will be 20" long."

Interesting. The "normal" Synapse is 16" long. And the Smart Alec is 18.5" long. So the larger Synapse must be long and lean.

I gave it some thought... 20" is pretty long! The SA is 18.5" and the BB is 18". A 20" is going to be enormous!

Oh God no, please not....I must resist, I must resist. I know that damn credit card is hiding from me after its near meltdown over Xmas, but I'll find it soon, oh yes I will. The first circle in the fires of Hell are reserved for thee, thy surreptitious card. I need my bigger Synapse.

If the larger Synapse sits up on its own and is aubergine and anything I'll do my best to be first in line.

I'd also be very grateful for an update on the progress of the larger Synapse - having no willpower, I'm almost about to spring for the current size!

The larger Synapse is coming along nicely. You know us: we spend a lot of time getting things just right.

Do you expect it to be released by July of this year?
    Thanks,
