Synapse with a DSLR and an IPad in a Cache

I'm considering a synapse pack. Although it will be infrequent, I want to be able to carry a iPad 3 and my DSLR in an insert Will a minimalist dslr insert fit in the bag along with the Cache iPad sleeve. It's a smaller dslr with just basic lenses. Thanks

The Synapse will most definitely fit your iPad within a Cache, as well as a smaller DSLR body and lens. I'm not too sure that your DSLR insert would fit into the Synapse though, do you have the dimensions of the insert, or the brand/model name? The main pocket on the Synapse measures 16" tall by a little more than 11" at its widest, and about 7" deep. Please keep in mind that the Synapse does taper in towards its top, and "maxing out" in one dimension may mean reducing the space available in another dimension. I hope that makes sense!
