Has anyone tried modifying their aeronaut with an additional zipper? I'm debating attempting to add a second zipper to the backpack strap pocket, to enable me to easily carry it on top of a small rolling bag/briefcase.
I'm considering a BR U116 or similar rolling briefcase.
P.S Tom Bihn bags rock :) (I'm currently typing this with my laptop sitting on top of my brain bag :D)
I wondered the same thing about the Tristar.
I am not considering modifying my backpack straps WF, I have no need to put it over a roll-a-board. But if I were, I would think there wouldn't be enough fabric to neatly sew in a zipper. I would probably just add a sleeve or strap to the bag vs. taking anything away.
It seems like adding a zipper would add the least weight. I don't intend on removing the backpack straps, just adding a way to slide a roller bags handles through to the top.
