I read on the forums that the new Tom Bihn padded Camera Insert/Outsert does not fit the Smart Alec backpack.

This raises a question for me: Assuming the new Bihn I/O wouldn't fit in a Smart Alec, has anyone tried after market padded camera inserts in that backpack? At present, I have a nice prosumer Canon Vixia HV40 camcorder (HDV, tape-based) and a Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3 SLR with two lenses. I also have an audio recorder and a fancy DeLorme GPS receiver. I was wondering if anyone had tried using either one, or more than one, padded inserts in an 'Alec? If so, how did it work for you?

I have not committed to purchasing a specific backpack or insert as yet; I'm currently using a cheesy Chinese-made Canon 2400 Gadget Bag (shoulder bag with awful strap).
