I put my Kindle (with keyboard) in the medium padded pouch. The pouch is bigger than the device but that makes it easier for me to put the Kindle into the pouch -- and take it out. I really like the setup.
I don't think it'll fit in the small padded pouch. I have a small cordura pouch and my Nook won't fit in it. I carry mine in a medium ballistic pouch and I also have a Kindle fire pouch I can store it in. I like that because it's the awesome ultrasuede.
I use the medium padded OP for my new Kindle (the $79 one), and there's even room left for the charger :-)
There are 2 different size nook pouches, one for the basic model and one for the color/tablet. And then a different pouch for the kindle fire/keyboard. Check the measurements on all three, I'm sure one of them will fit. If not, a padded medium OP should work.
Hi dig, I turn my Nook sideways to fit in the medium pouch and it goes right side up in the Kindle fire pouch.
The outer edges of the Kindle Touch are about matched to the outside piping on the small padded organizer pouch. Actually, because the piped border is curved around the corners, even the outside piping doesn't extend as far as the corners of the Kindle Touch. This means that even if your Kindle Touch were absolutely flat (no thickness at all), it still would not fit inside the the small padded organizer pouch. The best fit option is the Kindle Fire and Keyboard Pouch, which is slightly shorter and slimmer than the medium size organizer pouch. It will also fit the Kindle touch with cover.
Me too! I love it - more than I thought I would. And oddly enough, though this is my first post, I'm going to recommend a brand other than our beloved Tom Bihn for it. I got a "slip case" at sfbags (Waterfield Designs, made in the USA too) and it fits perfectly as that is what it was designed to do.
Now before I get banned by my first post (!) I am the proud owner of a Brain Bag, Synapse, Medium Cafe Bag, Ego, snake charmer, several shop bags, and a small army of various pouches and packing cubes. And as all addicts, I have a couple of more bags I'm longing for (Ristretto and TriStar) but just haven't pulled the trigger ... yet.

Oh and I have the quite lovely navy/solar co-pilot as well (holds all my dslr accessories)... I knew I forgot one. LOL. (And no, the kindle will not fit in the small padded pouch)
