I have definitely found this to be the case. I have a Swift in Cork (original design, so the cork fabric extends all the way to the bottom of the bag) and have yet to notice any mammalian fur/hair (cat, dog, or human) sticking to it. The yarns that shed fibers (e.g. alpaca) stick to the outside of the bag, or the Dyneema interior pockets, but do collect on the inside lining (the reverse side of the Cork material). But that's not visible to anyone but me and my Yarn Stuff Sacks (which do help in containing the renegade fibers).
