There are times I can be heard from a mile away...slight hyperbole but the seat belt buckle gets noisy at times as one walks with the Super Ego. Any thoughts on how to mitigate this clanging?
Thanks,
Howie

That's part of the seat belt buckle charm!Really - I don't think there's any way to make it less noisy.

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more there.
Are you walking around with the buckle locked in place and have you got it as tight as possible? I've just tested it on my own Super Ego and its quiet unless the strap is loose. The only thing I can think of is placing a small piece of sponge or rubber between the two metal plates of the Male end. But I think that would affect its operation and tension abilities ....
Personally I like the clank ... no other bag like it![]()
Yes...when the strap is tight the clank is stifled to a degree. I wish I could maintain the tightness of the strap...it keeps working its way to a looser position and the clanging commences...
Some electrical tape placed between the metal "male" pieces works for me. It mutes the Klanking when the straps loosen.
Using a: Super Ego (Black, Steel, Wasabi) with seat belt strip (Wasabi), and alternate reflective Strip. Black BrainCell, Wasabi Snake Charmer, Cork Small Organizer Pouch, and Olive green medium organizer pouch.
