Has anyone ever hauled a pair of shoes in a Yarn Stuff Sack? If you got your shoes dirty and had to store them in a Yarn Stuff Sack, how would you clean the Sack after removing them when you got home?

I think you would need the tall yarn stuff sack to hold a pair of shoes. My regular sized one can hold maybe a child's pair, but definitely not an adult.

I've used the tall one for a pair of shoes (women's 10).. I have no idea how I'd clean it though.
Truthfully, I prefer it for yarn. 4 skeins of lamb's pride bulky plus my pattern and needles.
