Guardian Dual Function Light and air travel?

I really really love my Tom Bihn light and it goes everywhere with me. But I don't want to risk it being confiscated.

Is it ok to take it with me?

i often fly with a flashlight in my bag, so it shouldn't be a problem.

the worst that has happened to me is that airport security opened up my side effect to swab it because it was filled with so many electronics - an iphone, a blackberry, a camera, and a flashlight .

I fly with a LED head lamp on every flight. I even use it on the flight so I can see the stitches I'm knitting. No one has ever said anything to me about it.
