    Let's see here... Intended uses:
    - Founder's Briefcase will be my more formal work bag. Definitely for use when visiting clients, or when I just feel like being a BAMF walking into the office. :)
    - Synapse 19 is mostly going to be my wife's travel EDC, unless I can pretty out away from her...
    - Daylight will be the light duty backpack either traveling or just for running errands around town. Some days the shoulders just don't want to carry the Pilot or Co-Pilot.
    - Guide's Pack will be my adventure pack and perhaps short trip bag when I want a framed pack. I'm going up to northern Ontario for a company retreat later in September. It might also come with us to Scandinavia. In a year or two, I'm planning on doing the Camino de Santiago. This seems an appropriate pack for that too.
    - The Night Flight is the puzzle... It is both somehow smaller AND bigger than I expected it to be. It will likely be a road trip and overnight bag in the interim while I figure it where it best fits in my life. Hopefully one of my US clients requests an on site visit soon so I can take her on a plane where she seems meant to be.

How is your Founder's Briefcase working out? I'm very intrigued by it. I currently use a Synapse 25 and Cache for my 15" MacBook Pro.

So far so good in the trial packings at home and at the office last week. I've been using the Daylight for the last few days and finding it surprisingly competent once you get the hang of how to pack the shingled pockets. The Founder's will get her true maiden trips to the office over the next few days since I don't need to pack a lunch the rest of the week. :) It would probably be fine if I took sandwiches to work, or something else that were flat/thin.

As it stands, I was able to fit (to my surprise) my chunky old Lenovo T420 with extended battery into the laptop sleeve, though the flap closure was not as elegantly closed as it would have been with a thinner laptop. One of the office 15" MBPs fit in it perfectly. I'm looking forward to a laptop upgrade to a Surface Pro or an ultrabook even more now. For those interested, I can fit my 8" Acer W4 Windows tablet in the pocket of the organizer side if I remove the case and cajole it past the zipper. A 7" tablet, e-reader, or iPad Mini (which I assume is the main device target for this pocket) should fit in there fine. Parapack is a lovely fabric too, and the coyote webbing/accents make this bag look retro classy.

Probably the only issue I'm having with the FB is figuring out the best place to put my phone. My HTC One M8 is much larger than the tiny little iPhone you see Tom pull out of the exterior pockets in the FB/GP video. I haven't quite figured out what I'll use those pockets for. Perhaps gum and business cards, maybe a small wallet. I don't remember if I saw an O-ring in there (doubting that there is), but doesn't seem like a good place for my keys unless I thinned out my key ring to prevent unsightly bulging.

Great haul itsablur! The one that caught my eye is the steel Guide's pack! Is that parapack? It looks really nice! I also dream of doing the camino with that bag! I visited Santiago de Compostela but did not walk due to time constraints.

Yes! All Guide's Packs and Founder's Briefcases are parapack exteriors. I'm really liking the fabric. It's got a nice smooth feel and an interesting sheen. The Steel probably isn't the colour for everyone since it does occasionally look either greenish or blueish and less straight steel in colour.
