    Uses of the Q-Kit

I received a surprise UPS delivery at the end of May…

…and it's been all I can do to keep mum, but now that the official announcement has been made, let me share some fun I've been having with the Q-Kit:

    1. Coin Purse

    Name: image.jpg

Size: 171.3 KB

My first thought was "Coin Purse!" However, I soon realized that 1) I do not carry around enough coins to fully utilize the Q-Kit and 2) if I did, it would be really heavy. Like all TB items, this little pouch is a TARDIS and can hold A LOT!

    2. Music Pouch

It's the perfect size for my iPod Nano (in a case and with clip holster) and earbuds. I can clip it to my S19 or Co-Pilot for easy access and its shape means I do not have to worry about my earbuds being squashed.

    3. Essentials Wallet

This, however, has become my main use of the Q-Kit – holding the essentials when I run a quick errand and, especially, when I go to the gym. I have been looking for something to hold just my ID/Driver License card, car insurance card, health card, credit card and keys. At first glance, the cards look to be too large for the Q-Kit...

But the magic and genius of this TB design is that the cards fit perfectly on the bottom of the Q-Kit! And even with the keys, there is still room for a bit more stuff!

I think the Q-Kit will be v popular with European Bihnions - here in the UK we still use cash a lot for small purchases (e.g. buses), and our largest coin (2 pounds) is worth approx $3, so we tend to hang on to them!

TBH what I'd really like is a TB coin purse with a zippered pocket for cards/notes/bus tickets, but I'm sure I'll find a use for the Q-Kit one way or another :)

For an easy-to-access stash of cough drops, mints, antacids, meds, lip balm, etc…

Yes, the toothbrush does fit inside the Q-Kit!

    6. Charger Kit

I only show in this photo the charger for my iPad/iPhone/iPad but can toss in a few more cables (like for my FitBit).

    7. Camera Essentials

I clipped this to the outside of my photo-gear-dedicated SA for easy access without having to open up the backpack. Loved it! I will be ordering an Aubergine Q-Kit to match my SA! : )

    8. Energy Booster

Had one lying around so thought I'd take a photo to show the Q-Kit's amazing capacity. This is a 2-oz bottle.

    9. Stress Toy Bag

For when it gets to be too much… and you need to de-stress. Or throw something. Note to self: top photo for people I otherwise like; lower photo for the really annoying ones.

    10. Finally and most importantly….

THE ultimate TB test of the Q-Kit...

    Will it hold a LÄRABAR?

    YES!!!!!

All kidding aside, the Q-Kit is a fantastically useful pouch. I really like being able to clip it to the outside of another TB bag for easy access. I have also clipped it to a lanyard to wear around my neck and also just clip it to my belt loop.

    Another awesome accessory from TB!

This is Matthew from the TOM BIHN Crew - I thought I would be the first one to use the Q-Kit for a sweet easy access cough drop pouch! Here's a picture of it attached to my Founder's Briefcase. Great little pouch.

Matthew, thank you for the good work over there BUT pouch-wise nobody is a match for taminca I think.

Anyway how did you find color-coded cough drops? That is soooo cool.

@taminca Another fabulous and creative photo job. I have to say that I was always surprised the Kit (the Q-Kit's larger predecessor) was not more popular -- maybe it needed a great set of usage pictures like these!

This would be perfect for a fast acting glucose supply bag, some mini skittles, a few tabs, clip it to the bag and I'm good to go!
