Don't you have all those scary poisenes snakes down there? I always thought one needs a knife just to live through the day but this is might just be stupid presumptions.

Sorry than I missed where you are. Though Australia it was. But why is shipping so much than? I may be a bit geographically - challenged. Nothing to worry about just a minor condition.

@vivelly You could take a look at the Tom Bihn Sighting, Orlando! thread. I gave some links to earlier, smaller scale Tom Bihn meet-ups in response to some questions in that thread. Take a look at the links to the one held in Washington, DC organized by @maverick (with some pictures of the bags people brought). And you could organize your own local Bihn fest!

I have not found any local TB owners here yet in NZ. :( Am I all alone...??
I think they will give me a psychiatric assessment if I announce I will go to the States to meet other people who have the same bags then I. :-)

I thought I put my "whats in my Side Effect" in as well:

It is my big cellphone my money-solution (TB wallet for paper-money, cards and stamps and the leather-thing for the coins), some "beaty essentials", some "first aid essentials" and some "survival essentials" and of cause a pencil and a piece of paper (A4 folded down) because you never will catch me without something to write on/with.

All the other thinks I need (or feel I need) on a daily basis are in my Smart Alec. This SE is for grabbing and running in the bakery for some brad or what. It sits in one of the side pockets of the SA.Name: SE auergine.jpg

Another knife carrying woman..:) I love the SE in Aubergine/Wasabi...I added one this colour to my preorder. Oh how I miss the bakeries. the bread does not compare to the stuff here.

This seems to be the one think we Germans REALLY have figured out: baking bread. And for the knife yes I do but I am not always completable to show that I do, stupid isn't it?
