wrangling an aeronaut and a monkey at once

unfortunately, we aren't free of roll aboard bags this trip.

the aeronaut, synapse 25 and the roll aboard are all pretty lightly packed, though.

the synapse 25 will be our walk around bag this trip!

I like the way that Mrs Mav has to carry the 45 litre Aeronaut, whilst Mr Mav has the 25 litre Synapse! The Side Effect isn't an excuse!

inside the aeronaut are 4 changes of warm clothes for me (heading to the uk), 2 changes of workout clothes, swimming trunks, a thicker book, and two 3d clear organizer pouches with toiletries. i've packed in a wf sized packing cube backpack (everything but socks and underwear) and a small packing cube (for the socks and underwear).

lots of space left for bringing back chocolates! :)

well, i was carrying both, but the roll aboard and the car seat was a bit difficult to manage, so i swapped with her. and the aeronaut, despite having a larger capacity, weighs less than the synapse 25 given what's inside each.

otherwise i would have given her the synapse 25 - really! :)

and, she's sitting in business while my son and i are back here in economy :p

my son asked why i didn't book business seats. i told him that there is a slight difference in cost. he asked: is it 3 cents more? i said no - it's a little more than that...

the aeronaut and synapse 25 stack nicely in the overhead bin of this 777-200!

I'm always surprised how small the Aeronaut looks when on the shelf next to all the roll aboards. A T.S looks positively tiny too.

Is it wrong to feel superior and smug as I watch last-minute stragglers struggle in vain to find a spot for their giant rolling suitcases, while my Aeronaut slides right into a little nook?

i'm in milton keynes and bedford!

we had a lovely time yesterday in windsor! it was such a beautiful, sunny day! we went by the castle, but didn't go in because it was early - so we walked around and got some breakfast. then we headed over to legoland and spent the day there. jaiden absolutely loved it, and i'm glad that we went - but i would be happy to not go back again! :)

even today was lovely when the same came out!

by the way, i've cut out coffee for the last couple of months, but i'm a sucker for espresso drinks in europe. so i had a decaf cappuccino that made my day even better! :)

MK is one of the strangest places in the UK... not just for its red neon pyramid either! There are no people visible as they all hide in malls and offices.

Windsor Castle is well worth a visit, I've never bothered with any theme parks myself.

Coffee without caffeine? Are you mad! :)
