family trip to greece...sponsored by bihn?

It sure looked that way, especially once we opened our luggage. Either that or we sponsored Tom's next trip :) (By the way, Tom, my whole family recommends Greece.)

This is my mom right after we met up at DIA, for a family trip to Greece.
Before you are 4 aeronauts (one is a breve, the other 3 have fancy-pants lining colors), a smart alec (belonging to my brother, Alec), and one small cafe bag. What you can't see are the countless pouches, cubes, wallets & keeping the insides neat & happy. Unfortunately, since we were packing light many other TB bags had to be left at home :(
This was the family's first time using TB luggage...they fell in love at first site & again on each of the mornings that we packed up to move to a new locale. Even the woman working the Luftsana counter in Frankfurt wanted one!

P.S. Sorry about the picture quality, this was supposed to be merely the first in a long line of shots of our TB luggage. Turns out, there were so many other photo-ops in Greece that I completely forgot about snapping our luggage again.

The amount of win that is in this thread is beyond comprehension.

@blackfungi We never abuse our Tom Bihn bags! @yarnopfile What were the Aeronaut colors? I'm guessing black, indigo, steel, and sage? (Sorry, I'm having a bit of difficulty with the color balance. And which one did you get as an Aeronaut Breve?)

Followup: When I checked the colors on my iPad, they looked like black, navy, steel and either steel or sage. Maybe steel, steel because it's the newer Aeronaut that I thought might have been sage.

Wow that is one awesome shot! I know exactly what you mean about how the photo couldn't capture all the extra bags. I know when we travel with our TB travel bags, they're stuffed with other TB bags like packing cubes and organizers.

One quick question. You mentioned that one of the Aeronauts was a breve? The only breve I'm familiar with is the really cool iPad case. I think this is a word I've missed, and looking at the Aeronaut options, I don't see anything related to "breve." Does it mean "unlined" or not lined with the nylon?

On my monitor it looks like two steels, one black, and one navy.

    .

The breve was a smaller aeronaut sold several years ago I believe.

misterN: "The breve was a smaller aeronaut sold several years ago I believe." I think it was a regular-size Aeronaut with shorter shoulder straps.

Amazing. I usually feel a bit odd when I travel with my assortment of TB bags but the entire family? That's great!

Yes, the breve is an aeronaut that has backpack straps sized for Lilliputians.

The colors are: aeronauts in steel x2, navy & black, a sapphire (I think) smart alec, and a cocoa cafe bag.
Although my steel aeronaut is scuffed & has a different TB logo, my brother and I were grateful that the lining fabric is visible around the top of the backpack straps, for that made bag identification quick & easy--mine is old-school steel & Alec has the young, bright ultraviolet....just like us.

Yes, we did see the Acropolis & too much more to list in this post. But I will say that anyone who hasn't been to Greece ought to plop on his/her bucket list right now. Then move it promptly to the top!

P.S. My apologies on the photo size. Despite working with digital images all day at work, I was quite unable to resize the photo and retain a format that would upload!?!

Don't worry, the photo size was quite appropriate, yarnopfile!

…And a great signature to go with the picture

@yarnopfile I love your new signature for its unabashed descriptive accuracy!:
