My ID Messenger is home!!!!
Some of the stitching on the shoulder strap of my bag had started to come loose. It definitely wasn't a manufacturing defect, because it took over 4 years of almost daily use to happen! I contacted TB customer service to get an estimate on the repair, figuring it would be about $25-$50 and worth every penny. It didn't even cost that though, because I got a reply to my inquiry from Katy telling me that if I sent my bag in they would cover the repair.
The front pocket of my ID usually has a passenger, Moose.

When sending the bag in, it didn't seem right to send it with that pocket empty even though I'm too paranoid of losing the real Moose to let him travel unsupervised. So I sent an Official Stunt Double Moose instead, along with a camera to document the trip if he felt like it.
My bag arrived home yesterday, and it looks like Stunt Double Moose had a good time. He got to visit the Tom Bihn retail store. Unfortunately he didn't get to meet Tom that day. Here he is atop a mountain of Brain Cells:

The next adventure on tap for the real Moose and my ID bag is Florida in May to watch the Space Shuttle Atlantis launch. We'll be right near the countdown clock in the press area which is as close as any human (or Moose) who's not strapped in to the shuttle itself can be.
