Some classic Yosemite winter views with Smart Alec

Yosemite was dry and not much snow. Parked the car at the lodge once we got there so all these photos are from places I could reach by foot.

First one, in front of (dry) Yosemite falls.

Somewhere going up the upper Yosemite falls trail. This is the only place I know where you can get a shot of both (upper) Yosemite falls and half dome in the same frame.

On mirror lake, or rather on mirror lake bed (no water).

    (Part 2)

I always thought that Smart Alec, when viewed from the side, has a profile that looks like half-dome. Half dome sunset on sentinel bridge.

Last one, at work, Liedig meadow.
