a video demonstrating that you can carry letter size paper in the co-pilot
per shiva's request, this video demonstrating that you can carry letter size paper and pads in the co-pilot.
Hi Maverick: thanks a ton for posting this! It was really helpful.
Now I am confused even more: so why did other forum members have difficulty putting in thesis folders and the like into the Co_pilot? Does it matter how stuffed or unstuffed the bag is?
i can't speak to the experience of other users. i understand that if your co-pilot is more full that it might prevent you from placing a thicker pad into there. but if nothing is obstructing the space inside the main compartment of the co-pilot depth-wise, you shouldn't have any problem placing letter size pads and inserts in the co-pilot.
by the way, i just tried placing a levenger circa notebook that holds letter size paper into the co-pilot and it does fit. this circa notebook holds the letter size circa insert that i placed in the co-pilot in the video. those rings on the spine of the circa notebooks add another 3/4" to the thickness. levenger describes the dimensions of the circa as being 9.25" x 11.5".
i believe that size a4 paper is 210 × 297 mm (8.27" x 11.69"), and i think that will fit. sorry - i haven't had a chance to grab my size a4 notebook from work. maybe we'll re-shoot this video with that notebook...
That is good to know. I use the Circa myself, and do carry tons of it. Mostly though, I just carry letter size paper in a simple plastic folder; so glad to know that will fit in the Co-Pilot. I have been wanting to gift it to a friend, but want to make sure that letter size and A4 will fit in!
thanks so much for doing this; and I am still waiting for dinosaurs from WF!!!
A4 paper is a bit tight in the interior of the Co-Pilot if you carry anything thick. I use my old Levenger brief case folders (shown in this post) for carrying letter size paper in the Co-Pilot. But I've only typically carried A4 paper in the outer back pocket. From another thread:
