    Oh, genius! I was just thinking the other day how sad I was that the Synapse doesn't have webbing loops like the Smart Alec on the outside...but it does! (Kind of).

    Nice! Sometimes I use mine as a waist or shoulder strap for my dry sack if needed or as a makeshift laptop hammock ala cache then insert it on the internal pouch for semi stability. The last use is hard to imagine I'm sure. I can't explain it eloquently haha.

    Now, I am using my waist strap for my new Side Effect. I am getting much use out of a waist strap that I though I would never use.
    Synapse 19, Travel Tray, PCSB, Western Flyer, all in Dyneema, Side Effect and pouchmania
