5 day trip with my AERONAUT

    Hi,

In the TB Anticipation Syndrome thread, Chowbisou requested I post my packing lists for my upcoming trip to Munich, Germany. I'm flying with EasyJet and as you probably know by now they have a strict 1 bag policy so my handbag/daybag need to fit in my Aeronaut.

I'm away for 5 full days but I'm not in the mood to spend any time doing laundry so I'm traveling quite 'heavily'

    In my Aeronaut
    2 pair of shoes
    1 fleece
    1 umbrella
5 socks (of which 2 are knitted by yours truly)
enough bras and undies for the 5 days
    1 dress with accompanying slip
7 tops - 1 long sleeved in case of a cooler evening...
1 skirt (also knitted by myself)
    Bose noise cancelling headphones
toiletries in a 3D clear organiser cube
    1 shirt for hubby
and finally my handbag/daybag which most probably will be my Co-Pilot as it is so light

Oh yeah, I'll probably bring my 13" MacBook

    In my Co-Pilot
    Kindle
Cartesio A5 notebook in a leather cover
    small diary
    small makeup bag
    iPhone
    wallet (zip around continental style)
2 fountain pens and one 3-in-one pen
    Gum Plus Powerpack (external battery)
    handcream
    keys
tissues, chewing gum... small bits and bobs

Here are most of the stuff just laid out next to the Aeronaut :

Dress, skirt, tops and hubby's shirt are in the large packing cube, all my smalls and socks are in the smaller packing cube and the shoes in their own end pocket cube (as we're leaving VERY early I think I'll be wearing the fleece, that's why it's not in the cube):

And finally with my Co-Pilot and umbrella next to it all:

Considering how much I'm bringing with me it fits quite easily in the Aeronaut !

Awesome pics! can you tell me where in the aeronaut you put your co-pilot? and once on board, did you take the co-pilot out and stow the aeronaut in the overhead bins? thanks!

I've been 'packing' and taking pictures today but I'm not leaving until tomorrow

During the trial packing this is what I did:
Shoes goes in one side compartment of the Aeronaut and the toiletries and my fleece on the other side.
In the main compartment I've got the big packing cube in the bottom and the small cube on top to one side (the one that is 'up' when the Aeronaut is carried as a backpack) and on the other side I'll squeeze my Co-Pilot in.
The Bose headphones goes where ever I happen to have space! It's a hard case so it isn't very delicate.

Yes, once on board I always take my handbag/daybag out before storing the Aeronaut in the overhead bins.

Before I leave I'll try to remember to take a picture of the Aeronaut packed and update my post with it.
