Happy birthday, Hector.

Today, everyone, Hector has reached the ripe old age of one! Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

Here is the first picture we received of him from the breeder. He's about 7 weeks.

We picked him up when he was 14 weeks old. As you can see, it was love at first sight between him and Titus.

Eventually, Titus warmed up to him. Here they are, enjoying a walk on the Notre Dame campus.

After a near-death experience (he swallowed a sock!), Hector quickly returned to health.

And then he was neutered.

Which made him grow.

Now he and Titus are nearly the same size, and we are so happy to have him as part of the family. Happy birthday, little friend.

Thank you for saying he's photogenic, JLE. He's actually kind of a wonky little guy (his head is misshapen, his eyes are two different colors, he is so long in the spine that his hind end trails his front end at an angle). He's not the pretty boy that Titus is, but he's charming nonetheless.

Hector and Flash (the Pom) share a birthday. Flash is 4 today. Happy Birthday to both little buddies!

Welcome, Shelly! Yes, there are a lot of dog lovers here, me among them. But cat lovers needn't feel left out: we've also had lots of photos of the felines who love TB bags as well.

Rosalind, who turns a year old next month, and her mamas send a big happy birthday hug to Hector :-) If we lived closer, we could do a birthday party . . .
