Any camera buffs interested in the nex 7

I never really liked Sony cameras before but I find myself very interested in the NEX-7 that should be out soon (Sony Nex 7 Release Date, Reviews & Expected Price!). I've been searching for a good small camera to pack (in a TB bag of course) when I travel but all the offerings so far have been limited. This appears to be the closest option to a full featured camera that comes in a small package but still offers flexibility. I just can't help but feel like I'm getting caught in hype though.

Check out DPreview. their review wasn't exactly glowing.

Actually all I see from them is the Nex7 Overview where they say they don't have a unit to review yet due to firmware.
