weirdguy liked post by tpnl On thread : Perhaps, an additional Top Opening for A45 in future revision?
For me, the main zippered compartment opening is small for fitting a 15" or greater sized laptop in protective case or small briefcase. Therefore, it is more fussy removing and putting back the...

I think this is a great idea, actually -- to me, the main advantage of the Tri-Star over the Aeronaut (I have, like, and use both) is exactly this -- difficult to pull out laptop without unpacking...

Kudos to you for using what you have, @weirdguy! Would it be acceptable to bring a strap for the Brain Cell and carry that crossbody during the times you might need to use your laptop, then stow...

weirdguy liked post by moriond On thread : 1 week out of town for work
Here's an example of the way the UMP attaches to the rail strap loops of a Synapse 25. Note that the bottom of the UMP hangs below the top elastic of the internal pocket for the Synapse in the main...

weirdguy liked post by Perseffect On thread : First Tom Bihn bag - Aeronaut 30 or Western Flyer?
My Navy/UV Western Flyer arrived and I love it. I also bought a few Wasabi accessories and think that would also be a great combo with the navy, shame thats not an option at the moment. Anyway,...

weirdguy liked post by kengreen On thread : Newbie question: ID vs Empire Builder
So true! Never articulated it like that before, but that's a great description of why the Empire Builder isn't as comfortable for carrying next to your body via strap. I always felt awkward carrying...

I have a Dell D810 for work which I think is 17", but if not let's just say it's a beast. After checking the fit charts on the site I realized I didn't have many options but for now I'm using the...

Mm, scratch that. If you're carrying a thick ring binder, you might be out of luck with the Pilot. Here is a test pack of a Swift with a plastic sleeve folder, thick-ish ring binder, chunky...

weirdguy liked post by tpnl On thread : Is it just my imagination or does the Pilot now have some non-backordered selections?
My Pilot in Black / Iberian just shipped yesterday together with a French Blue DLBP to go in my growing Black/Iberian and Nordic PCBP/PCSB collection! I think TB should invest in drones that deliver...

One of my Solar Travel Trays had a lucky escape last night. It usually lives, open, on the table in our dining room / den, with bottles of vitamins in it... next to a pile of my partner's paperwork...

The ID has only one water bottle holder. The ID has two Ultrasuede lined pockets which are good for holding those scratch proof items such as iPods, sunglasses, etc. All of the compartments are...
