meekasmom liked post by timothy On thread : 2015 Wish List
Echo the idea of a Freudian Slip sized for the Daylight Briefcase, as talked about in a different thread as well. It would be a good way to give even the Dyneema version more structure, for people...

meekasmom liked post by Pokilani On thread : (Bye) Little Swift (Hello in 2015) Cross-Body Knitting Bag
This thread has gotten very interesting. The Swift didn't appeal to me at all until I emailed Hannah one day to find out if they had any Nordic left. Two of three choices were the PCSB and Swift so I...

No jumping, but I will say that there is a huge difference in the feel of the Ballistic, Cordura, Cork, Hemp, Ultrasuede and Dyneema offerings for the Swift and Little Swift. I have owned all but...

Great pictures, though I wish they would bring back Steel Dyneema. :-(

meekasmom liked post by timothy On thread : Carrying papers, writing utensils in new Daylight Briefcase?
That's a good idea, actually; the more bags that have Freudian slips either designed for them or at least compatible, the more the expectation would / should be that there's one for any given bag....

meekasmom liked post by bchaplin On thread : Thoughts on the Aeronaut 30, Daylight Backpack, and Pilot
Thought I'd give some initial feedback after finally trying out these bags on an almost-two-week trip to Israel. As background: I traveled solo and independently and, by design, visited four...

meekasmom liked post by maverick On thread : The Little Briefcase that Can Fit Almost Anywhere: early Daylight Briefcase review
I know the Daylight Briefcase just came out, and I am eager to get my hands on it! I went to dinner this evening, and I brought along my iPad mini because we needed to review some things, along...

meekasmom liked post by GoStanford On thread : So, what's the Tom Bihn of clothing?
I guess a long time ago it used to be Levi Strauss. Now, though, the old building is a Quaker school and I don't know where the manufacturing takes place. In history class we were told that Mr...

Thanks all for the great insights for this new bag. I am interested specially as a travel work day bag inside my Tristar or western flyer. It does however seem to overlap a lot with the pilot in...

@Pokilani, if you don't cave now, you'll probably cave when you see it at the meetup in December (cackles). Okay, here are some pictures. 8917 I had to bribe him to do even a half-assed pose...

Um... and your point? :) I also already have a Nordic/solar Pilot and a Black ballistic/steel Co-Pilot... but for a lightweight multi-day business trip where I really only want to carry one bag,...

I think they could co-exist okay. My bargain-price Imago hasn't arrived yet, but as someone who has used a Pilot and CP, they are IMO quite different bags. The Pilot is boxy and briefcase-like, and...

Wow, I'm so sad that I missed this beautiful curvy Imago bag! Late on the scene but I would totally buy a more horizontal bag with less boxy lines, even in the more simple mono-colors that seem to...

My very first Tom Bihn purchase was my navy/Cork/wasabi Imago. It is my favorite to this day. I would love to see a return of a sexy east/west oriented bag. I would welcome a lovely, streamlined...
