About Fat Crip
Life Story:
Until eight years ago, I was a very keen Cyclist and motorcyclist. Both from your side of the pond - A Buell M2, and a hand built in the USA Cannondale, But in in 2004, I had a spinal injury. Now I ride an 800cc V-twin Can Am quad bike (road legal here) and an electric scoot. But I can still collect bags!
Location:
I live a little South of Edinburgh in Scotland's border hills
Interests:
Collecting bags, records and cd's and listen to them on Linn HiFi including a classic LP12 turntable. I also still fly fish, and I keep up with my biker mates through ukbeg.com and since summer '11 I've been going on ride outs on my quad bike!
Occupation:
I'm the principal of my own Wealth Management Company
Your Bag:
Cocoa/Cayenne Ristretto for MacBook, an iPad Ristretto in Steel/Wasabi, a Steel/Steel aeronaut
Which laptop do you have?:
MacBook Pro 13" (great), Dell 17" (not so great), iPad 2 64GB 3G (outstanding!)

eWalker liked post by Fat Crip On thread : Aeronaut - but smaller....maybe??
I'd like to add my weight to this. The Aeronaut is excellent, however, for Europe it does push the boundaries a littler size, and it does rather encourage beating the 10Kg weight allowance of most...

Historymeg liked post by Fat Crip On thread : How to avoid the bulging bag syndrome on Travel Bags
In a word, no. Certainly not with the cubes. In the Aeronaut I use the straps to hold a couple of large organiser pockets with business papers, before putting two cubes 'loose' on top, then my...

Anniegill liked post by Fat Crip On thread : EDC Emergency Kit
EDC depends on your situation. For example, when I used to go mountain biking (per-crippledom), I carried a tiny kit under my saddle and a larger, but still compact, kit in my rucksack. When I'm on...

Janine liked post by Fat Crip On thread : TriStar or Western Flyer
Much as my Cardinal Western Flyer is probably my favourite bag, If you are only going to only have one, I'd recommend the Tri-Star simply because you can under-pack it; but you can't add an extra...

TavaPeak liked post by Fat Crip On thread : Piggyback a bag to a roller suitcase
Just remember if you're flying in Europe, many airlines either only allow one carry on bag or charge through the nose for a second (e.g. FlyBe.com can be as much as 100 to upgrade from Economy to...

Hollie liked post by Fat Crip On thread : Woah cool, the Guide's Pack!
Bearing in mind that I can't walk, I've absolutely no need whatsoever for a guide pack, but that doesn't stop me wanting one really, really badly! Mind you, I think that part of the appeal is that it...

It might not be as arty, Mav, but it'll be much more useful, I'm certain! The recent TB vids are lovely, but I like to see a product in detail before I she'll out for it, and your videos do that...
