@icebeng, you are correct. The Keystrap isn't that easily make, as you said.
I added a last minute KeyStrap order 'Black' last night and requesting TB Crew to exchange with other color, shall they are available elsewhere.

Anyway, Guess what. CP is back with multiple color, except dyneema - Steel/Steel, Black/Wasabi and Aubergine/Wasabi.
Solar: A45 Navy, CP Black, SA Black, TT, YSS/Tall, OP/S, PP Navy
Steel/Grey: UMP Steel 400d, PU Coyote, DLBC, FBPW, OP/L
    Olive: SC, DOP/M, COP/M

    BC V S1, H M2, PCSB Nordic

I can see quite a few people going nuts over that news, weirdguy, especially over the Aubergine lol
I am pretty sure the Dyneema CPs would be back in stock soon.

Did you place your order before 12:00 p.m. (Pacific time)?

If not, it might not have shipped yet, so email the Crew to ask them to add to your Dyneema Co-Pilot order.

Not sure if this helps but lower shipping rate options are available for Canada if you have a small order AND are willing to have it shipped USPS.

Maybe Greywriter could bring them with her, it could be "Keystraps on a Train".

From Toronto to Vancouver, well... How far is Calgary from Jasper? Oops!

I try to be make it better, because I can emphasize with you being upset.

I believe Darcy might be updating the website remotely, she might be on vacation.

I am annoyed with myself. I thought about adding a hold for new keystrap colours to my order but decided that would be silly. Not!

Or maybe French Blue? Burnt Orange? Have they ever been available in Steel? (I really want matching keystraps for my bags)
Come to think of it, would key straps made from Parapack work?
I really hope new colors are available when colored key straps are back in stock! ^.^
@icebeng I thought I'd point you to this blog post that shows the rolls of material used for keystraps.

Generally, before the advent of Dyneema keystraps, they used to use 500d Cordura for the longer (16" keystraps) (these are the ones that can be seen in the first embedded image in this post, with long keystraps in Wasabi, Cayenne, and Sapphire -- all colors that were 500d Cordura, and also seen in the original Snake Charmers). The shorter, 8" keystraps were made from rolls of 1000d Cordura (Olive, Plum, Storm, and at one time, Crimson.)

Thank you for the link, moriond!
After I finished drooling over the colors, I read that entry more carefully and went "Wow!"
I had no idea they even thought of how the way the fabric is cut would affect the sewing process!

I'm curious about something though, the Steel Cordura used in the interior of bags was 500d too, wasn't it?
Was that ever used for accessories and pouches?

I'm curious to know this too. I have asked for 500d steel, black, and olive pouches before, but didn't get any-- not sure if they didn't make them, or if they were just out.
