Well, I have an aubergine/wasabi Tristar so from my point of view it seems nicely symmetrical to have a plum/wasabi clear cube. But I can see that for some colour schemes it wouldn't work at all.

I'm curious, what colors would you think wouldn't work with Wasabi? I've always thought of it as pretty universal, since it pops up pretty often as a lining option for quite a few of the exterior colors.

I meant more that it wouldn't work for the colour schemes in some people's Tom Bihn collections.

But thinking about it, I doubt it would be particularly nice with Burnt Orange as an exterior colour.

Ah! Now I get what you meant.

Burnt Orange with Wasabi? It doesn't sound bad actually.
    .......
Ok I googled pictures of pumpkins and wasabi to get an idea of that combo, it doesn't look bad at all, but now I'm stuck with images of pumpkins stuffed with wasabi in my head! I wonder how it'll taste? Never mind..... lol

Thanks, but I can't accept the credit. All my ideas came from this forum's original posters.
My mini Side Effect makes a great casino or movie theater bag when I lengthen the strap and allow the bag to rest in my lap. I hardly know it's there. Wish I could do the same in a restaurant, but my napkin gets in the way.
Does anyone have a solution to safely store a small bag or purse while dining?

You might take a look at fitsinthepurse.com or just google purse hangers. There is a thread someplace on the forum discussing purse/bags hangers too. I'm not good at searching. In that thread there was a link to a beautiful titanium hanger that I really liked.

The Wasabi lining infuriates me because I reeeeeeeeeealllllllllllly want to collect Clear 3D Cube but I am not a Wasabi person, at all.

I wish Tom and the Crew will make a batch with Steel Dyneema or Black Cordura lining.

But if the Wasabi lining helps the Crew, with the manufacturing process, for example, we have x yard of x, y, z color strips to make x number of 3D Clear Cubes so we need x yard of Wasabi cut to make the lower backing, who am I to argue?

In protest, I got Clear Quarter Packing Cubes and 3D Cubes!
You might want to whatch out if the parapack 3D clear Cubes returns. I have one and it has the same lining as the extirior. Sadly there are at this time none left but hopfully they will return and than you can have wasabi-free 3D clear Cubes.

For what it's worth: my ultraviolet clear 3D cube is lined with ultraviolet. (Though my mesh one has the wasabi.) Might be worth a call to the store.

My Solar SE has two lively companions:
Inside are two 3D bags which fit nicely
One holds makeup /small boar brush /clothing first aid
The other has knitting notions and small first aid ( for people) packed and ready to go
They can be pulled out for solo work as well

My TB Bags are in the inner space of a both or, if I have to dine at a table, I drop the bag, on the floor with the body of the bag squeezed between my legs, if the bag has a strap, the strap is secured around one of my knees.

Don't hang any purse or bag on the back of the chair, a purse hanger is fine for Swifts or Cafe Bags as well as Daylight Backpacks.

The Night Flight is tiny but wide, so it could be a problem in a crowded restaurant.

The Crew should sell Urethane Protectors for the bottom of our lovely bags: a length of that material seamed on all four sides with a TB logo and 4 O-rings, placed in the 4 corners, to clip on any TB bag O-rings.

PLOs (3D Cubes or Sides Effects) or non TB, hem... formal purses, either bought way before I knew about TB or (I waited for them to go on sale) vegan flat envelopes in pink and purple, are placed on the table.

You lay the strap across your seat and sit on it. The bag dangles, not touching the floor unless it's a big honker. You always know where it is.
The stockpile keeps growing...I'm in serious trouble.
