I hope the surprise is that new supplies of parapack have been secured and it will be available in navy!

I would want to buy this in a light fabric, such as dyneema or parapack, because it is already a small bag and the likelihood of it being forcibly checked seems very low. However, aubergine would be tempting! I have a Side Effect in that color and it's very nice.

Think Aubergine Parapack, @bchaplin! If only wishing could make it so

Is the parapack a lightweight fabric? How does it compare, weight-wise, to the dyneema?

Hopefully not before I get another warm-color in parapack! Too many cool neutrals - wouldn't parapack in an antique gold or a deep rust be yummy?

As long as the exterior is Aubergine, I wouldn't care what color the interior is!

The aubergine is really pretty but too pinkish (like Barney) for me to sport. If there was a rich dark purple, I think I would choose that, but until then, I'll have to go with something else.

I would have said that the aubergine is a rich dark purple - my aubergine ristretto doesn't seem remotely pinkish to me! But each to their own...
