Synapse at Greenwater

We joined a group taking a hike to Greenwater Lakes last weekend, and of course my trusty Synapse made the trip. Here it is, pausing on one of the bridges crossing the river, with a small red light, whistle, and GPS attached (worn by my lovely girlfriend).

I have to say that I am really impressed by the carabiner, GPS, red light and whistle setup.

There's an episode of Portlandia where they mock all the gear people bring to go on a simple walk, and I sometimes resemble those people. "Gotta get the gear!"
