Falcons are awesome. I'd much rather spend a day practicing falconry than touring another winery.
Oooh, when did you get the Ristretto in that gorgeous purple color? I'm just a *wee* bit jealous!
Amen to that .... although I will admit that a substantial quantity of wine was consumed during our trip ;-)
I've had it a while - It's 'plum' which seems to have disappeared from the colour choices. I recently stood back and looked at my wardrobe and realised that pretty much all of my clothes are either black or purple/mauve tones ... somehow happened without me noticing... at least I had no trouble with my ristretto clashing with anything!

For a second, I had an image of you and the falcon sharing nips from a flagon.
The annotated pic on flickr was very informative. To respond to one of those notes, I really don't think the Ristretto for iPad requires the Absolute strap. I can carry more or less the same stuff in my MCB and I think the AS would be overkill (it's totally overkill on my Co-Pilot, too). However, since dorayme and lilin have posted pics of their bags with the ultrasuede wraps on the straps, I've been thinking about acquiring one of those. Since you've already removed the pad from the strap, the wrap might be an option if you are carrying heavy things in the Ristretto along with the iPad (bottles of wine, intoxicated falcon, etc.).
