    Cardinal/Hemp Imago is Here!

The picture doesn't do the lovely color justice...My Cardinal/Hemp Imago is here! I was regretting not getting the Steel/Cork when it was available...but no more. I would describe the color as subdued and the bag itself is so substantial. Here it is with the other Tom Bihn stuff my family and I have acquired over the past six short months. Now, my 9 year old daughter is asking for a medium Cafe bag...."Honey....'!Name: DSC_0006.jpg

    Great photo!

I have so far kept myself from ordering the Cardinal/Hemp/Steel Imago as I already have a Plum/Olive/Olive one, but I'm not sure how long I can hold out. It looks just gorgeous! Have a great time using it on your trip!

    Hi dmilem,
Wow what wonderful photo. I love the colors. In the upper right side of the photo there is a steel dyneema something. What is it? I can't tell what bag it is.
    Thanks again for the photo.

Yes, the upper right hand corner is the steel packing cube for the Tristar. I tried unsuccessfully, to download a picture of the inside of the Imago. It is also steel and looks great.

    HI dmilem,
I thought maybe that was it but I've never seen one in person so I couldn't be sure. Thanks for letting me know.

I know you're so excited about your new Cardinal/Hemp Imago....I keep telling myself, "I must resist, I must resist." And what an impressive collection of Bihn bags: you've collected all these in just six months? Are the three Synapses for you and your two daughters? And what's her favorite color for the Medium Cafe Bag? If she likes the Cardinal Imago, I'll bet she's like the Crimson/Steel MCB.

Two of the backpacks belong to our oldest sons. The olive is the 11 year old's and the navy is the 8 year old's. I got them just before Spring break. When I saw how great the features and comfort were, I got myself the indigo. The blacK Aeronaut is my husband's which we got just before he went to Haiti in May. I ordered myself the Tristar at that time....Well, you can see how this has gone....! My almost 10 year old daughter, hasn't decided which color MCB she'd like, probably for her birthday. Our youngest daughter, who is six, hasn't been bit by the bag bug yet and our 3 year old son just wants a backpack so he can go to preschool. Our little family and our little family of bags!

Gorgeous picture, thanks for sharing, and your new Imago sets off everything and stands out as a showcase piece, great choice for your collection.
Thank you Tom and crew for making such wonderful bags, being a conscientious customer focused company, and giving me a sense of organization and control over a part of my life that affects me almost every day, the things I schlep with me.

This is just too gorgeous. You are weakening my resolve not to get another Imago! And I see you're another Moleskine fan; at least, I think that's the daily planner in the front pocket.

Actually, the Moleskine in the front pocket is my Chicago City notebook. I've never used one before and am looking forward to keeping up with our memories in it. The other is my journal and I have a third in there somewhere that contains things I want to memorize. So, yes, I'm a Moleskine fan!

Hey @dmilem, what kind of iPad sleeve are you using? It looks interesting.
Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Thanks Janine. I like that little sleeve...it's been well-used for over a year. I hesitate to mention the company that made it because it's another online bag company and I'm not sure what proper protocol is on this forum. I do like using a small sleeve, such as a Cache or Breve, as opposed to a case, which adds weight and bulk to a sleek, beautiful machine.
