Synapse and Side Effect in central NY snow

My wife and I spent the last several days in the Finger Lakes region of New York, arriving just in time for a pretty big snowstorm. As usual, we went carry-on only and used only TB bags. I carried on an Aeronaut and a Brain Bag; she had an Aeronaut, a Synapse, and a Side Effect.

Here are a couple pictures of the Synapse and Side Effect (and Brain Bag) in action on a bird-watching walk. It was hard to get good photos with my phone because the snow was so bright, but you'll get the idea.
