    Minamalist overnight

Rocky's parents are keeping the kids through the holiday weekend and giving us some time to ourselves. We are spending the night with them and leaving them in the am. I didn't need anything substantial. For my bags so I went with ultra light. I usually resist mixing cloths with car activities, but this time it was no biggie. I am carrying:

    3-d cube has toiletries

Side Effect is packed as I usually carry it.

    Synapse has:
    In the main compartment
my change of clothes in a slim eBags packing cube
a pashmina for when Rocky needs the air colder than I like it
    iPad in the slip pocket
Magazines in UV large clear pouch
Knitting in UV medium stuff sack
Large bag of gummy life savers (dinner)
Solar small clear pouch with iPad and iPhone chargers and adapters for 110 and 12v and Lotion bar in front side pockets
vibrams five fingers classic smartwool fit nicely into the lower compartment

Checking into the hotel, carrying my mostly sleeping daughter and holding hands with my 6 year old was so easy with this setup.

@TXGirl. You must know by now that there is usually more than one Side Effect.

I love how everything matches, and I extra love that it's all purple. :-)

Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Dorayme - excellent idea for more than one Side Effect. Note to self - add to next order list.

(Hope this isn't a double post - the one I just typed seemed to go missing!)
