Using a side effect as a handlebar bag is a great idea! Can't wait to try it.

You could run the two straps through the webbing loops where you attach the annex clips in order to fasten the Lead's Pocket to the Guide's Pack, and then run those straps around your handlebars. Yeah?

Add to that a coyote brown waist strap, and you can take the Lead's Pocket with you around your waist as you walk away from your bike (is that waist strap available separate from the Guide's Pack?).
Doesn't seem to have any options to buy the coyote waist strap separate. I've asked about buying the coyote key strap before, but they're not going to do that yet. Would love the option for both items to be available separately.
The Lead's Pocket is quite a bit larger than the Side Effect though, would it be bulky on the bike?
Also, cos of the larger size, perhaps using the Smart Alec's GateKeeper's Straps might be more secure?

Awesome! Which straps did you end up using? I'm planning on getting a Pilot soon to use as a diaper bag and have been trying to figure out a slick way to attach it to the handle of a stroller.

That picture looks great, Jeff A! Looking forward to using my SE this way when I dust off my bike next Summer (we're in the middle of a wet winter at the moment)

Thanks! That pic was pre-bike trip. During the actual ride the keystraps slide down towards the center but that's ok, it worked great!
