What Your Laptop Feels Like Inside of the Brain Cell
Above: A picture shows a 15" Powerbook cradled in the four layers of protection that our Brain Cell hard-sided laptop case provides.
First layer: 500 denier Cordura. Cordura resists tears and abrasion like no other fabric of its kind, and is 3X more durable than standard polyester. We use the best Cordura available, woven and finished in the U.S.A.
Second layer: A strong-but-light-weight plastic corrugated to provide hard-sided protection. Die-cut to our specifications in
the U.S.A.
Third layer: Soft 8mm-thick Ether Foam absorbs shocks and wraps your laptop in the sling that suspends it off the bottom of the Brain Cell. U.S. made.
Fourth layer: Super soft poly-knit tricot fabric brushed for softness: cradles your laptop and keeps it free from scratches. Laminated to the Ether Foam for us in Washington state.

Just Reviews the Ego and the Aeronaut
We recently posted about the "First Look" review of the Ego messenger bag and Aeronaut maximum carry-on bag conducted by Rainy Day Magazine.
By coincidence, TOM BIHN Forums member Just had recently used that same combination of TOM BIHN bags three-day tour of the Grand Canyon.
Below is an excerpt of Just's review. You can read her entire review in the Bag Reviews section of the TOM BIHN Forums.
"On the return trip, the Ego proved its worth by serving as sole carry-on, since an extra piece of checked luggage (the Aeronaut) was needed to bear the load of an overweight bag (yay to overpacking moms, but especially yay to my having prepared for this very situation by bringing both bags and hence no overweight luggage fee, and no sensitive/necessary for flight items in checked luggage)."
