The Archetype: Redesigned With Shoulder Strap Attachments

Tom has redesigned The Archetype Molded Cork Laptop Case to include shoulder strap attachments. All sizes of the Archetype now feature an attractive and unobtrusive triangle shoulder strap attachment that accepts our Absolute, TerraGrip, or Simple Shoulder Straps.

Be sure to check out the May issue of Domino magazine (on newsstands now). The magazine profiles a "day in the life" of Simran Sethi, an environmental reporter and cohost of the Sundance Channel's new series "The Green,", and host and writer of Treehugger Radio (produced by Jacob Gordon, Treehugger Radio is informative, fascinating, and entertaining and we highly recommend checking it out.) Part of Simran's day includes packing her MacBook inside of our Archetype laptop case. We feel proud when we see people who make a difference, like Simran Sethi, using our products.

The ID Messenger Bag: A Customer Describes What It Can Hold

Customer D.P. sent us this review of our ID Messenger Bag:

"In case anyone else is wondering how much the new ID bag holds, I wanted to post my experiences. The short answer: it holds a lot.

I just bought my ID bag, along with the Brain Cell for my 13-inch MacBook, about a month ago. I needed a bag to travel with my MacBook, but with more flexible space arrangements than a briefcase. The ID met my needs perfectly. Here's a description of what I had in the ID for my flight:

fuddled.org Review of the Buzz Sling Bag

Excerpts:

"As noted in previous posts, I am currently typing on a 13.3″ black Apple MacBook. Having ended up with the 13.3″ MacBook, after using everything from a 12″ iBook to a 17″ Powerbook, I have found this laptop to be the ideal portable machine. Of course, once you have the perfect laptop in hand, you quickly need the perfect Apple accessories. The latest addition to my list of Best MackBook Accessories and the next product to be reviewed on the fuddled.org website, is my new Tom Bihn “Buzz” backpack sling bag."

"I give the Buzz high marks. On a number of stars basis, with five stars being the best, I would actually give the Buzz a five star rating, for serving it’s purpose perfectly, overall quality and attention to detail."

"It is impossible to describe the freedom of carrying just one bag."

Below is an email and a picture we received from customer G.P. about his recent trip using the Aeronaut Convertible Maximum Carry-On Bag:

"Hey guys,

I recently returned from a trip to Israel, my first extended trip with my Aeronaut. I followed the 'one-bag' approach, carrying in my Aeronaut a week's worth of clothing, my Macbook, my PSP, and a variety of cords, toiletries, and a magazine or two. I never felt as if I lacked anything and, through some careful repacking, was even able to bring home a full complement of souvenirs.

It is impossible to describe the freedom of carrying just one bag. I was so pleased that I took this picture right before I left.

Many thanks,
G.P." The TOM BIHN Imago Messenger Bag in Cork

"The Tom Bihn Empire Builder at $150 is so well made out of such great materials, that you may not need another briefcase--ever, the life of Tom Bihn's warranty to the initial purchaser. If its mated with a Brain Cell ($50) and an Absolute Shoulder Strap ($25), in our experience and opinion you will have the best bag money can buy -- Bill Fox"

ThinkMac.Net Reviews the Small Cafe Bag

    "Conclusion:
We loved the simplicity of this bag. I tested it with my camera gear and it performed very well. It doesn't feature padding inside, but that's not really what this bag is meant for. It's intended purpose is to be used as a day to day throw your stuff in and head out. Christiane tested it out as well, as a day-day purse replacement. It worked very well for her as a purse replacement, but don't forget that this is a uni-sex bag, and can be used for a variety of things & people. Perfectly sized, durable, functional, & no frills. We totally loved it!"
