The ID in Hong Kong

“Greetings from Hong Kong, where I’m loving my new Tom Bihn bag collection, especially the ID. Looks good in the attached photo, doesn’t it? It was taken on the ferry between Discovery Bay and Hong Kong Island.

The ID has been my constant companion since I arrived here about two weeks ago. Can’t say enough nice things about it. When I’m in tourist mode, it holds my jacket, bottle of water, camera, and guidebook. When I’m conducting business, the Freudian Slip insert holds business cards, folders, and papers without crushing them. I’ve even used it as an overnight bag when visiting friends on other islands.

No matter what I’m doing, the ID’s messenger bag profile and Q-A-M strap allows me to slide through crowds with ease. Sudden downpours and ferry splashes just shake or wipe off easily. The zip pocket on the front flap is the perfect place to hold my Octopus (mass transit) card, until I get an organizer pouch to attach to the lanyard.
I love the thoughtful little touches, like the ultrasuede-lined pockets for my phone and sunglasses. The bright cayenne interior makes it easy to find things in the bottom of the bag.” – M.L.
