Pictures: Packing Cube Shoulder Bag... Camera Bag!
"I thought I would share my recent camera bag experience for those that may want or need something similar.
For summer, I needed an inconspicuous camera bag to carry my Canon T2i/550d w/15-85 + backup Canon G10 around SE Asia while doing my thesis research. I had several requirements for a camera bag."

Aeronaut and Solar Convertible backpack in Galapagos
"I bought the Aeronaut and a bunch of packing cubes to get ready for my trip to the Galapagos this last week. It was good, but very hot and I got a bit burned even though I put on a ton of sunblock. Since I have been lurking around here for a while, I decided that since no one had mentioned taking their Tom Bihn bags to the Galapagos Islands, I would take the chance to do so." The Tri-Star Proves its Worth in the Overhead Compartment
"The Tri-Star also proved it's worth this weekend... coming up to Seattle the flight was packed and the overhead bins stuffed. Many folks had to check their carry on bags after getting on. I was told I had to check mine, but I was able to fit it in between two large wheeled space hogs effortlessly. The picture doesn't do justice the poetry and satisfaction of the moment. Though I didn't get a picture of it, the Synapse was nestled comfortable under the seat... it makes a great personal item since it's so easy to find what I want."

gmich: Brain Bag Goes To Class (Review, Packing List, Photo)
Below is a review of the Brain Bag posted by gmich in the TOM BIHN Forums. His packing list is especially useful in visualizing just how much the Brain Bag can carry:
As a professor of education, I often have a lot to carry to my classes. But no matter how much I have to bring with me, I really try to avoid carrying more than one bag. And that's where the Brain Bag comes in.
Last week I had it stuffed to the gills (though I could have squeezed in more if I'd had to:). The photo above shows it loaded down with:
11" Acer netbook in a horizontal Brain Cell
Archos 5 Android 5" internet tablet in a TB small padded organizer pouch
3 thick 8x11 textbooks
1 thick 7x10 textbook
1 file folder full of 30 laminated 8x10 photographs
Freudian slip containing:
--3 plastic file folders full of papers/assignments/student work
--2 Moleskine notebooks (one large, one small)
--3 magazines
--iPod and earbuds
--Sprint Mifi
--2 DVDs2 hardcover children's picture books
1 VHS tape (yep -- still use them occasionally)
2 stacks of index cards
several pens, highlighters
2 flash drives
stack of business cards
It was heavy, but not bad considering all that was in there. And the best thing about it is that, with the two large main compartments, it's so flexible. You can configure it to carry a change of clothes, two laptops, groceries -- just about anything.
--2 Moleskine notebooks (one large, one small)
--3 magazines
--iPod and earbuds
--Sprint Mifi
--2 DVDs

Shiva on the Smart Alec and Western Flyer in the D.C. Blizzard
On the Western Flyer (WF):
"Mostly, I wanted to say how much I appreciated having the WF on this trip. I had this plus a small roll on (16inch); I packed both casual and dress clothes for a week, plus a lot of paperwork. While everyone else was struggling with bags on wheels when we finally got out at BWI, cos of snow covered parking lots and sidewalks, I walked away with my WF on my back and the small roll on could be carried really easily."
Read the full post in the TOM BIHN Forums. On the Smart Alec:
"[In the D.C. blizzard] I did what i have not done since I left Illinois as a grad student: went grocerying with my Smart Alec. Picture attached. This is what I had in it: 6 apples; a box of Cheerios; a loaf of bread; a bag of chips (full size); a big box of Yogurt; half gallon of milk; and tomatoes safely ensconsed in the top pockets. It was great! Did not think I could carry all this so easily and comfortably."

Synapse, Side Effect, and Brain Bag in central NY snow

"My wife and I spent the last several days in the Finger Lakes region of New York, arriving just in time for a pretty big snowstorm. As usual, we went carry-on only and used only TB bags. I carried on an Aeronaut and a Brain Bag; she had an Aeronaut, a Synapse, and a Side Effect." Posted by gmich in the TOM BIHN Forums. Loki: Photos of the Synapse on hike in Northern California
"Here are a couple of shots of my Synapse on a recent day hike in the mountains of Northern California. It was my first time hiking with it and it performed very well. It was light, and moved well, even while I was scrambling and jumping from rock to rock. I was very excited to be able to use my 2 liter water bag in the back pocket... though it had to be somewhat underfilled (the drinking tube is visible in the picture). Overall, I couldn't be happier. The synapse has made for an excellent every day bag. I love the compartmentalization that means there is room in the smaller pockets even when the main compartment. and is proving itself as adept on the trail (even for a reasonably long day hike)... and the ability to use a water pouch effectively is great.
