“Last Thursday I was biking home from one of my law school classes with my Super Ego bag slung over my back using a Q-AM Shoulder Strap and my 15″ laptop in a Brain Cell inside the bag. I like to try and go as fast as possible down a steep hill on campus. I’ve hit 35 mph before, but this past Thursday only got to 34.3 (weak).
Anyway, there is a sharp curve at the bottom of the hill and as I tried to make the turn, my bike slipped out from under me. I was thrown off the bike, launched over the curb, slid across the sidewalk, and I stopped when I hit a fence along the side of the road. My hands are all torn apart and my knees look pretty nasty – luckily I had no broken bones.
I’m writing you to tell you that my bag is almost completely in tact, and my computer still looks great and works perfectly. My Q-AM shoulder strap is dirty and ripped, but the bag lasted through impact and through the fall. I guess it is true that you get what you pay for…your bags are excellent and worth every penny. In fact, if I had another bag on my back, I’d likely be paying much more to fix/replace my computer.
