On either side of the bag, there are 0.5″ bumpers which have been sewn in. These bumpers catch the special hook on each side of the three dividers, so it’s like the inverse of a hanging file: the dividers can easily slide wherever needed in the compartment to keep files crisp and undamaged, or they can simply be removed.
