“I have been traveling with my Tom Bihn Brain Bag for the past six months (4 flights) and I decided earlier this week that it was time to get a suitcase, proper, for my next flight (today).
I packed light, considering that Philly is forecast to have lows in the single digits: a pair of pants, a sweater, two shirts, skivvies, pajamas; audio recording equipment, laptop, sketch pad/markers, to do list, travel documents; toiletries (including travel neti!). When I went to zip up the 22 x 14 x 9 REI suitcase, it needed to be extended in order to close! (FYI the extended version of the suitcase is too big for the carry-on size limit.)
Frustrated, I grabbed my Bihn bag, stuffed the items in and I have room to spare PLUS it fits under the seat in front of me.
