Customer story: Using the Brain Bag in India after the tsunami

One of our good customers sent in this account of being in the
midst of the tsunami disaster:

The day after I reached Madras (India) we were hit by
the tsunami. Fortunately, my family and friends were
not directly affected. Many people I know lost all
their belongings, but were just happy that their
families were all safe.

So anyway, I spent part of the remainder of my holiday
at relief camps and trying to help the thousands of
displaced people. Of course my
Brain Bag
went with me every step of the way.

Perfect…

A spare set of clothes, a towel and my machete in the
back. Emergency medical supplies and as much clean
water as I could carry in the front. My bag was loaded
onto buses (read as – thrown on and off), used as a
pillow (and a chair and a foot rest and and and) and
flown to India and back, and is still in wonderful
condition. You can now see some scuffing on the
underside, but I have had it a year and every other
bag I have owned has fallen apart in half that time.
Thanks again for making the world’s best backpack.

Please, please, don’t ever stop making the Brain Bag, I
will always want one. When this one dies, you can bet I
will buy another and another and another.

In the one year or so since I got my first Tom Bihn bag, I
have baught a Brain Bag, three Cafe Bags, a Freudian Slip, a
Snake Charmer, a Monolith, and two Empire Builders.

Thank you.

Best regards.
