Washington D.C. TOM BIHN Fest! Saturday, 09/25/10, 11am
maverick has organized the first ever TOM BIHN Festival/Meet Up. It’s to take place in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 25th at 11:00am. You will meet your fellow TOM BIHN fans on the mall between the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian Castle.
For directions and more information, please see to the TOM BIHN Forums thread started by maverick about the event. Please let us know in advance if you will attend and which TOM BIHN bag(s) you will bring so that we can plan accordingly.
maverick asks that you bring a TOM BIHN bag (or two, depending on how many people are coming.) This will allow folks to see bags (and colors) in person that they are curious about. If you don’t have a tom bihn bag but are curious about them, that’s okay – come out and see what people are carrying and how they are carrying them.
If you can’t attend, don’t worry: many photos and videos will be taken at the event and we will be sure to share them with you next week.
Oh, one more thing: we think maverick might have with him on Saturday a very much anticipated new bag. He’ll be able to give attendees to the TOM BIHN Fest a special sneak peak. No photos, though, please.

Bid on a Medium Cafe Bag at the Old Dog Haven Auction
A Medium Cafe Bag in Linen/Steel is one of the many great auction items you’ll have the option of bidding on at the Old Dog Haven Auction in Everett, Washington on Saturday, October 9th. Old Dog Haven is a small group of volunteers with a large network of foster homes throughout western Washington. Their goal is to provide a loving and safe home for senior dogs that are without homes or families.
