Customer Feedback: The Checkpoint Flyer

“I never in a million years imagined myself to be traveling with a laptop, but received one as a gift this past Christmas. I had some trips planned and found that I would need to bring my computer to New Zealand, Australia, New York and Nevada. The Checkpoint Flyer is fabulous!! It’s a breeze to get through both domestic and international security. In fact, the security personnel at Auckland International Airport asked where I purchased such a
“brilliantly designed” bag. My only regret is that I failed to order a shoulder strap for it, which I will be doing soon. The bag is perfect! I have even been using it when I bring my laptop to work. Thank you for designing such a functional bag…a very thoughtful creation!”

Cheers!”

- Amy.

When we asked Amy if we could post her feedback on our blog, she replied:
“I just returned from another trip and the bag worked out great again! I can’t believe how hassle-free and efficient it is for me to travel with my laptop; my husband, who was behind me in security, was hassled about his laptop and had to take it out of the bag he was using for inspection!”

Why We Choose UPS: Efficiencies Reduce CO2 Emissions

Over the next year, we’ll be sharing with you the reasons we choose to ship via UPS (United Parcel Service).

    Via UPS.com -

UPS learned through time studies that avoiding left-hand turns saves time, conserves fuel, lowers emissions and increases safety. UPS managers used to plan routes by hand on maps while driving to destinations. They then experimented with the routes, eliminating left-hand turns to see if it led to increased efficiency. It worked. For the past several decades, UPS has designed routes in a series of loops with as few left-hand turns as possible.

Since the deployment of this route planning technology in 2004, UPS has eliminated millions of miles off delivery routes, taking already-expedient routes and giving them razor edge efficiency.

    As a result, UPS:

  • Saved 10 million gallons of gas
  • Reduced CO2 emissions by 100,000 metric tons, equivalent to 5,300 passenger cars off the road for an entire year.

The Tri-Star Convertible Carry-On Travel Bag by TOM BIHN, Reviewed by the Vacation Gals

“No exaggeration: The Tri-Star is so well made, it’s hard to tell the bag has suffered the indignities of being sat on/bounced on by bored children, hauled across the Pacific Ocean and the United States, and stuffed with what is likely the legal limit of wine bottles to be driven across county lines.”
