One Bag, One World recently published a post concerning the difference between 1050 denier ballistic nylon and 1680 “ballistic nylon” (linking to Tom’s description in our forums of the difference between the two fabrics.) It’s definitely worth a read. FYI, the only ballistic nylon we use is 1050 denier U.S. made ballistic nylon.

“My laptop smacked right to the ground…”

“I just wanted to write you with a true (and almost completely unfortunate) incident that happened to me today, it is however a true testament to how awesome the Brain Cell case is!
As I mentioned to you before, I carry my laptop in the Brain Cell which resides in my Chrome messenger bag. Anyways, today I had a co-worker try to be funny and sneak up and me to release the buckle. Basically, he succeeded and my bag went plummeted to the floor. My laptop smacked right to the ground and I nearly had a heart attack.
I quickly picked my bag up and inspected the computer, everything seemed to completely ok!
So, needless to say, despite the fact my laptop smacked a granite floor, the brain cell completely absorbed the impact and I’m writing to you from the laptop in the story.
