Thumbs Up for Medium Cafe Bag, Ruc’s Sack

“First time contributor – woo hoo! I just received my order from Tom Bihn, and I gotta tell ya…these bags rock. I have used many different brands of bags, but the true test of what is made the best is the one you come back to. Tom Bihn is that bag. I am the proud owner of a Large Cafe bag in kelly green (lots of compliments on the color), and just ordered (and received the very next day) the Medium Cafe bag and Ruc’s Sac.

About the Medium bag – I plan to use this one on the weekends. It’s smaller than my Large Cafe bag…..” — Read the entire review, posted by bobster in the TOM BIHN forums.

Aeronaut Review from the TOM BIHN Forums

Packing my favorite bag – the Aeronaut!

“Just back from a month long trip using the Aeronaut as my only bag. I love it! This is the third journey for my Aeronaut and it still looks like new. This trip I expected to see some possible wear since it was being loaded into a tour bus everyday for 2 weeks. Nope still looks like new. The drizzling wet weather of Norway didn’t faze any of the contents -thanks to the ‘splashproof zippers’ I wasn’t even worried.” — Posted by Skylark in the TOM BIHN forums. Read the entire post.

Nick Hodges: My New Laptop Backpack

“First, I noticed that they clearly had strong attention to detail. Tom Bihn doesn’t sell laptop backpacks, they sell backpacks that comfortably and carefully integrate laptop carrying cases. To get a “laptop backpack”, you actually have to buy two things from them: the backpack and what they call a “Brain Cell”. The latter is a very well designed, snug-fitting, and heavily padded and constructed cocoon for your laptop. The Brain Cell integrates perfectly into almost any of their backpacks, quickly becoming part of the backpack itself. And it is clear when your laptop is nestled tightly in the Brain Cell that not much is going to happen to it in there.”
