“Realize that I had never reviewed the Empire Builder bag, so I had never seen the clever filing system Tom Bihn utilizes. On either side of the bag, there are 0.5″ bumpers which have been sewn in. These bumpers catch the special hook on each side of the three dividers, so it’s like the inverse of a hanging file: the dividers can easily slide wherever needed in the compartment to keep files crisp and undamaged, or they can simply be removed. This is one of the coolest specialized features I have ever seen in any bag. Read On…

“The Zephyr briefcase is a great bag for carrying and protecting a laptop. Being a person that worries about the little things, I took comfort in knowing that my laptop was secure in multiple layers of protection.

The numerous pockets on the outside and inside of the bag lived up to the advertisement, “Big On Organization.” I like having everything in its place, digging around for change or a pen at the bottom of a backpack or large purse is often frustrating.

Even when I loaded it up with my laptop, power cord, mouse, purse, paperwork, and a large novel, it didn’t feel too bulky. And thanks to the Absolute Shoulder strap it didn’t hurt my shoulder like my old backpack use to. No more strap marks!”

“I began to think about returning the Q-AM. I was worried about the material used in the shoulder padding – it’s pretty slick, and slides easily along your shoulder/over clothing. What’s the point in having this cool bag if it’s always falling on the ground?

Ahh… but then I actually followed directions. When I started wearing the Q-AM the way it was designed (cross body, over left shoulder, bag on right), it all made sense. The “slick” material makes it easy to maneuver the bag around and get to its contents. And cinching up the strap, pulling the ID close to my back makes it as comfortable as a backpack.”
