Friends of Riley: Jasper, Chuckly, Bear, Boo, and Grendyl

Riley is Tom’s Irish Wolfhound/Something Else mix, adopted
from a local shelter. Riley’s job is greeting customers in our Seattle store when he’s not busy hiking with Tom. Riley’s favorite things: biscuits, long walks, questionable sources of water, his red fleece kerchief, cats and squirrels (he just wants to be friends!), and belly rubs.

Visit Riley’s Page to meet Riley and his friends: Jasper, Chuckly, Bear, Boo, and Grendyl.

Send us a picture of your companion animal, and we’ll add him or her to the Friends of Riley gallery. You’re also welcome to submit a link to your favorite companion animal charity.

Stormy Seattle + Expedited Holiday Shipping

If you tried to call us after 4:00pm PST on Thursday and were wondering why we didn’t pick up the phones, it was because our power went out due to a huge wind and rain storm here in Seattle, Washington. Wind gusts reached up to 60mph, and the rain came down so fast and hard that it flooded many downtown streets.

Luckily, UPS had already picked up outgoing orders that day, and no shipments were delayed because of the storm. Power to our building returned early this morning, and we personally delivered your last minute UPS Ground and U.S. Mail shipments to the UPS depot and the Post Office this evening.

West Coast customers: You may still be able to select UPS Ground and have your order guaranteed to be delivered by the 25th. Consult our UPS Transit Time map or give us a call (1-800-729-9607 or +1-206-652-4123 or email us) and we’ll help you figure out the time in transit for your package.

Midwest and East Coast: Choose UPS 3Day Select shipping by Tuesday, December 19th, 2nd Day Air by Wednesday, December 20th, or Next Day Air Saver by Thursday, December 21st to have your order guaranteed to be delivered by the 25th.

Last week, Sparky came by our headquarters with his 13″ MacBook so Tom could try fitting the MacBook inside the new Buzz Sling Bag prototype. Sparky’s MacBook fit inside the Buzz perfectly, and Tom is doing everything he can to make sure the Buzz will also fit the 15.4″ MacBook Pro.

Using our bartack sewing machine, Tom also created an extra-long key loop for Sparky so he can unlock his door without unclipping his keys from the key loop. Sparky posted a short video of Tom using our blazingly fast, 42-stitch bartack machine on his blog. Click here or on the image below to be taken to Sparky’s blog where you can watch the video of Tom bartacking the key loop.
